The Cable Girls are three experienced and passionate knitters, on a mission to share their love of all things woolly. All of The Cable Girls have found knitting to be a therapeutic and rewarding hobby for many years, so joined forces to create a range of knitting courses from beginners to the more advanced.

 

Art Playground, a new social enterprise, encourages creativity and curiosity in adults and children alike. They create interactive art projects and places.

 

At the Cheltenham Art Office we know just how tricky it can be to make a living from Art.  Many different skills are needed, as well as having skill and passion for your chosen art form. Everyone will have found some successful strategies as well as facing many different challenges.

Living from Art networking meetings are an opportunity to come together and meet others taking the same path. We hope more experienced artists and makers will come along and share what they have learnt with people just starting out.

 

Charlie Markwick has been telling stories and reading to adults and children for most of his life. He specialises in entwining reality and fiction to produce a singular type of story. Although Charlie often draws on well known traditional and modern themes, each story he tells is unique.

 

G Acceleration provides innovative and practical support to improve business efficiency through the use of technology. This includes the redesign of working practices, impartial software research, help with implementation and training.

 

The multi-award-winning 2000trees is a 5,000-capacity festival set in the rolling Cotswold Hills. Held annually in July, the 3 day event is home to more than 80 of the absolute best new and underground acts from the worlds of rock and indie, plus some more established acts to close out the night.

 

Create Gloucestershire (CG) is made up of over 70 members and associate members from across the arts and cultural sector; together with a range of strategic partners from across different sectors. They think, research, test and share ideas to encourage arts to become “everyday” in Gloucestershire.
